Birding Southwest
Birding Southwest offers guided tours through
the biodiverse and striking landscapes of Western Australia’s Southwest, a region known for its rare species and ecological richness. These tours are crafted for birdwatchers, photographers and nature seekers who want to experience wildlife in its natural habitat. As the designer, I set out to create a brand that reflects the quiet wonder of birdwatching while also capturing the bold sense of exploration that comes
with venturing into these remote and beautiful places.
Inspired by traditional field guides and trail markers,
the visual identity blends natural detail with confident, functional design. I developed custom icons and image treatments that celebrate birdlife as a window into the landscape, while the use of bold typography and strong composition adds energy and direction. The brand is designed to spark curiosity and mirror the spirit of the tours. It feels immersive, awe-inspiring and grounded in a deep respect for nature.
